About UK Land Registry Online
What we do
UK Land Registry Online obtains official copies of property records from the official land register for England and Wales on your behalf and email them to you as PDFs within 24 UK business hours. We do not give legal advice.
We supply three documents for registered property in England and Wales: the title register, the title plan and the conveyancing pack of documents referred to in the register. Every order starts from an address or a title number. We do not search by the name of a private individual, because that search is not open to the public.
What we check before a document leaves us
A person matches the address you give to a title number and confirms the match before anything is ordered. If two titles could fit the address, or a flat’s leasehold and the building’s freehold are both possible, we email you first. Each PDF is read against the address you supplied before it is sent.
How our pages are written
Every page on this site is written from the register’s published guidance, from genuine official copies of registers, plans and filed documents, and from guidance published by The Law Society, the Council for Licensed Conveyancers and law firms. Register wording quoted on our pages is taken from real official copies; example addresses, owners and title numbers are invented.
We keep a rule list that every page must pass before it is published: no prices on information pages, no naming of the government registries or their portals, no legal citations, no delivery promise other than our stated term, no reviews or ratings, and no claim that a document is anything other than what the registry issues.
